NJ Troopers Struck In Crash Released From Hospital

Two New Jersey State Troopers struck by an SUV have been released from the hospital, authorities said.

The troopers' van was struck from behind by an SUV during a traffic stop, said Trooper Charles Marchan, a State Police spokesman.

The crash occurred at about 11 a.m. Thursday, April 13, near milepost 40.3 of the Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township. 

The driver of the SUV remained in Cooper University Hospital in Camden after being airlifted there, Marchan said.

The vehicle that was pulled over also was damaged.
